Existential Kink

Do you sometimes wonder if you are sabotaging yourself? I know what that's like. I've been there myself. And as a fully trained Existential Kink coach, I also know some great tools that can help.

Existential Kink is a transformative process that uses deep shadow integration to address recurring "don't like" patterns — like falling for the wrong person over and over, or never making as much money as you'd like.

The way I like to explain it is this:

In sexy "kink" people explore how erotic pleasure can be derived from sensations like pain that are normally considered unpleasant.

"Existential" kink isn't about sex, but it does apply a similar perspective to all of life. We explore how parts of our unconscious psyche (also known as the shadow) are deriving pleasure from situations that our conscious ego does not like. **

Using somatic, shadow-integration techniques, Existential Kink invites you to explore and bring radical approval to the parts of yourself that you have been avoiding.

Rooted in Carolyn Elliott's Existential Kink methodology (described in her best-selling book), the approach helps break the negative patterns in a paradoxical, almost magical way. By bringing into consciousness the ways we actually enjoy the "don't like" situation, it actually breaks the pattern, so we stop attracting it into our lives.

On a personal level, I've found Existential Kink to be extremely helpful in shifting negative patterns, and I like to share stories about that in my blog.

I am also fully trained as an Existential Kink coach through Carolyn Elliot’s Immortal College.

If you have a goal you want to achieve or a negative pattern you want to break, and you think Existential Kink could help, I'd love to explore that.

And if you've read Carolyn Elliot's book and are looking for some help in applying those lessons, I'd love to support you in that too.

** Just to be clear, the term “kink” is used entirely metaphorically in Existential Kink; there are no sexual acts involved in any of my sessions. That said, Existential Kink meditation techniques can bring up high sensations, and these can at times feel pleasurable.
